Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.

Everything in one place, with all the check here details before you open an account, is at tradetheday.com.
