Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
