TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
